Описание вакансии: Early Career Program - Service Engineer

The Early Career Program is a 18 months rotational program that allows you experience and develop skill sets in locomotive shop operations, material fulfillment and quality control. ECP consists of three, 6-month rotations in 3 functional areas that are intended to provide a broad exposure to the locomotive shop operations leading to successful off program placement in a role that will launch your Wabtec career.

 

You can focus on some of the industry’s most exciting trends in various shop operation domains like locomotive maintenance and troubleshooting, quality and reliability issues solving, supply chain optimization, lean improvements. This program also emphasizes continuous education through advanced studies/ certification as well as in-house courses & workshops.

 

That’s not all! Your program experience will include engineering locomotive system training, experience on multiple products, contributions to shop operations, exposure to senior leadership, and development of a lifelong strong network of professionals.

 

Profile required :

• You have a degree (bachelor/master) in Engineering
• Recently graduated (2021-2023), you have at least a first professional experience (internship included).
• You are willing and able to travel and/or relocate to Ayagoz, Saksaulsk and Makat.
• You speak English, Kazakh, Russian. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• You have a strong commitment to a career in rail  industry with a passion and aptitude for engineering and a good general understanding of engineering fundamentals with desire to continue learning
• You have a first prior intern, apprentice, or research experience in engineering
• You can solve technical challenges through regular application of common design patterns and identify appropriate patterns for use in problem solving
• You are very customer focus, keen to collaborate close to various stakeholders and have strong relationship skills 
• You have a good leadership and excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms, strong analytical skills
